Powerful Title - Cina balik China, India Balik India

This blog post is a repost of the Citizen's blog on The Star Online. Original post can be found here.

Errr I think it's time for us to look back what we have done. The following blog post was posted on Sept 03, 2008 - months after the 308 GE. Malaysia is a wonderful nation, we the Malaysians have the responsibilities to making the nation greater and stronger. Read the following post, it was posted by mdnorhafiz, whom I don't really know who he is. You can know more about him here.

And since our GE is coming really really soon, I think it's time to let you guys read the following thing to remind us, we are all Malaysians! 1Malaysia unites all of us!

The post goes like this..
Huh, our government regards them as squatters. Even some racist MPs and Malay folks asked them to go back China and India. Yes, let we start to imagine a Malaysia without Indians or Chinese.
1) Sports
Instead of Lee Chong Wei, the last Olympic medal won by Malaysia in badminton was Rashid Sidek in 1996.
Instead of Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boong Heong, the last All England won by a Malaysian was in 2003 through Muhammad Hafiz Hashim. Out of 23 titles won by Malaysia, only two of them belongs to "original" Malaysian. Another one was double, Razif and Jalani Sidek in 1982.
Remember, without Nicole Ann David, Malaysian is nowhere near to world-class squash player.
2) Fashion
Malaysia will lack of world-class fashion designer without Jimmy Choo, Bernard Chandran, Zang Toi and Melinda Looi
3) Entertainment

Who is the famous Malaysian celebrity after we loss legendary P Ramlee? Siti Nurhaliza? No. Mawi? No. Michelle Yeoh? Yes.
How about Francesca Peter and Alleycats? Hmm, I think lot of Malays enjoys their songs too.
4) Business
The wealthiest man in Malaysia according to Forbes is Robert Kouk with USD7.6 billion worth, trail by Ananda Krishnan at the second place who is short just 200 million from Kouk. Only Syed Mokhtar Al Bukhary manage to slot among squatters in the top 10.
The above is just a few examples from a long list of towering-squatter Malaysians.
***********************************************
This Ramadan 1429 is the first anniversary of the successful of nearly impossible heart transplant for 15-year-old Tan Hui Yee at IJN. Regardless of religion and race, a wonderful Setiawan-Malay family came out out of sudden to donate their son’s heart to Tan Hui Yee. The family famously quoted, “My son was a gift from God, and now it is time to return the gift to God”. Simple yet meaningful.
Despite her body rejected the first heart and went another operation with a new harvested heart from a Chinese boy (which later declared as successful), this story is worth of millions for us to remember repeatedly. Professional medical team (which comprised majority by Muslim Malays) struggled for 16 hours during holy month to carry out the operation. Even some of the Malay team members working non-stop at the hospital for several days just to accomplish the operation.
With God blessing plus Malaysian unity, every success is possible.
Selamat Berpuasa.
Well, a powerful title, with the simple examples, makes me repost the whole thing here. I am afraid The Star Online may one day 'accidentally' deleted the post.

Seriously, I think Malaysians should live together in peace and harmony, regardless of race, religion, class and beliefs. One good example - the Singaporeans. They respect each other, and do not discriminate anyone in the nation. Whao!
