After 59 days of long court hearing, the KLHC has ordered Anwar Ibrahim to enter his defence, finally.Anwar is charged with sodomising Saiful at the Desa Damansara condominium between 3.01pm and 4.30pm on June 26, 2008. This is his second sodomy trial since 1998, although he was acquitted of the earlier charge on appeal.
I know how the world reacts after knowing the outcome - 'Whao! Not again?!' But I was like - Chey! I meant, there is really nothing to be surprised. Even Anwar Ibrahim himself told the reporters that the finding was not unexpected (that means it was expected, hahaha).
"Of course, it does not come as a surprise, the fact that the judge gave this ruling. But what is clearly shocking is that he has virtually prejudged the case. He has taken, not only prima facie but extended beyond that, all the ingredients of the charge as something factual, acceptable beyond reasonable doubt, which means it's already a conviction."
Actually the world would have predicted the outcome, unless you do not follow the story from the beginning till the end. It's pretty obvious what will be the outcome, because the evidences are there, the witnesses are there, and the whole world is actually watching. Good man! Going to jail for more than once for the same reason is really a lil bit unbelievable. We just see what will happen during the trial from 6th to 30th June, 2011.
I strongly believe, our PM Najib will only decide, and announce, the date of GE, only after all these are settled. Long live Malaysia!
